Some country goodies from the all day under the tents auction I attended.

Auction Day

Today I am heading out to an all day auction. I absolutely love this type of auction. And the weather is just perfect for it.
The rain stopped and the sun is out. The leaves are just starting to change, so there will be some nice foliage views on the way up.
Then an overwhelming array of antique, vintage and country treasures awaits under the tents.


Saturday is a big day in downtown Dover NH. APPLE HARVEST DAY. The main street in town, Central Avenue, will be blocked off and filled with booths, vendors, crafts, goodies and food. Lots going on!


The shop I sell out of, JUST THE THING, is lucky enough to be situated right in the hub of action. Please come by and check out the sidewalk booth. Then pop in the store for a bit and enjoy all the Fall decor, vintage wares, great old furniture and antiques that Susan and several select dealers have arranged for your shopping pleasure.

Many of the items pictured here have gone to new homes, old red drop leaf table is gone, as is the green cubbie & the stepstool and the upholstered rocker was just sold too
